Vantage Point
...just another perspective.

Keeping busy @ work

I usually make lists when I need to keep track of what I need to do,
but at work, I've found a more expeditious alternative - mini Post-
its! Sure my monitor looks like it had an unfortunate day of shaving
with a dull razor, but something about this just works for me! Anyone
else as addicted to Post-its as I am?
5 Perspectives:

Oh, I'm the same. I have a terrible memory and I usually have post-its all over the place, too. And scrap paper full of lists. And three calendars...

Hi Wandering Coyote! Thanks for stopping by my site again :) I totally understand the three calendars too. Do you have the calendars online or on paper? I have 3 calendars as well: 1.) Google- personal 2.) Outlook - work 3.) School. In order to streamline, I try to keep them all online and have them sync together and onto my iPhone. My iPhone is truly my saving grace these days.

Side story, I have a horrible memory of recent events and I have known this for a while. My mom used to get upset with me and ask me why I had to write everything down, and couldn't understand why I just couldn't REMEMBER it. I just can't! ....Plus I will use any excuse to buy some of my favorite things - OFFICE SUPPLIES.

I have one wall calendar and two I use in my agenda. It sometimes gets complicated, like today I realized I'd forgotten some stuff I had to do while booking my hours for work. I'd written it down on one calendar but not the other. I love office supplies, too - especially pens!

Wow! The multiple written calenders could get confusing, no? Yes, I agree, you can't beat great pens! Aside from blogging, do you also like writing a journal or anything on paper?

Yes, I keep a journal that I write in nightly. I also have various notebooks for non-blogging related writing projects, too. I always make sure I get pens I love - gel rollers .7mm, preferably, and in fun colours!
